Deadly Terminology

It has been said that the beginning of wisdom is to call things by their right names; for example, the Korean Police Action and the War Against Terrorism. That’s why chemistry nomenclature is internationally standardized; by the end of wisdom, you call dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane by its right name, “overcommercialization”.

clue:

The Korean War was officially a “police action”.

Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane is DDT.

give me a clue so sweet and true
