Well now, I do remember the bad old days. Back around the Turn, why, people could get away with anything—terrorists could blow up buildings, and married couples could cheat on each other, and you might pass a starlet on the street and never know. We lived in a fog, back then. So don’t be afraid of the surgery, be proud, proud that you’re old enough for your permanent transponder.
