22 February 2006 - jackalope hunting

Here’s my plan. The U.S. military can be safely withdrawn from Iraq, and all we have to do is tell Dick Cheney about the great jackalope hunting there. It’s 100% upside:

- With only one high-profile target, insurgent activity will be easier to control.
- Just as many insurgents will be shot as ever.
- Unreliable intelligence reports will no longer matter.
- When Cheney complains about the accomodations, a higher priority will be given to infrastructure projects.
- Nobody that Americans care about will be in danger.
