Gambling is a steady industry; other businesses are gambles by comparison. Maybe that’s why their bored executives feel the itch to visit the Unpredictable Security of America.

In recent months two executives of internet gambling companies have been arrested on visits to the U.S. The first one was a surprise, but what was the second guy thinking?

I don’t understand the allure of commercial gambling when there are perfectly good financial markets that give better odds.
