9 November 2006 - election correction

Well, over here we just had an election. It was the party of cut-and-run versus the party of digging yourself into a hole and continuing to dig. Alternately, depending on your political views, you may see them as the party that carefully avoids mentioning any specifics versus the party that keeps getting the specifics wrong. I conclude that the electorate is like the stock market: They may get it wrong for a very long time, but eventually there is a correction.
