Replacing the Sun Is Left for Future Generations

Throwing it in a landfill is recycling too. You’re just taking a longer perspective, which is good, right? The only atoms that don’t recycle are the ones lost to space, a few interplanetary probes but mostly gas escaping from the top of the atmosphere. For true long-term sustainability, we need to bottle the planet, which means we’d better start throwing more stuff away if we’re going to collect enough.
