a burden.
diplomat: The rest of the world doesn’t see it that way.
population: Pff.
Qin: I have plans to get rid of this one, but it’s going to
take a long time.
economist: Well, that’s actually understandable.
diplomat: No it’s not! Dance to my tune now!
Qin: Do you know how long it takes to start a business in
China? Every process is gradual.

A problem for everybody, China included, but also in the end a
self-limiting problem. The political attention on Chinese exchange
rates is way out of proportion to the measures that can be taken.
