Not all robber barons depend on monopoly power. Some get by with mere oligopoly power, and then there’s the food industry which by a kind of market jujitsu exploits the inertia of the masses to overthrow us in the direction we were already moving. I had more to say about all this, but my unhealthy diet has left me too dull.
