Natural Laws Fall Into Classes

Mystery is not conserved; you can solve a mystery, and the solution need not raise new mysteries. Mystery is also not consumable; it’s hopeless to use up all the mystery. Mystery has the Heisenberg property that pinning down one aspect unpins others. In other words, mystery is pretty much like sin, except that we work harder to reduce it.
