In today’s least informative news, Barnes and Noble are divorcing. They always were an odd couple—somebody has to feed the aristocrats, but normally the smelly stuff is kept at a distance. The two halves will be consumer book selling, or Barnes, and the college textbook business, which with that markup is clearly Noble.
