On 10 May 2015 I concluded that serial numbers could be plainer than plain English. Now I realize that it is worse. Even bureaucratese can be plainer than plain English. Consider spam: The bureaucratese term is “UCE”. It is gobbledygook, but it stands for “Unwanted Commercial Email.”
