When it comes to the Spectre vulnerabilities, nobody has suggested a feasible hardware fix, and the software workarounds are so complex and needed in so many places that it is humanly impossible to apply them everywhere they should go. The dam has broken. The Surveillance Age cannot be held back, and all we can do is grow used to life without secrets.
