Let’s work out this mythology. Angels traditionally have ranks, and presumably files, or as we usually say, rows and columns. On top must be the archangels. The ones in support are column angels, and the columns occur in rows. The classical design is starting to become clear. But what foundation does it rest on? Is that you and me?
