22 July 2018 - darkroom, cleanroom

Some rooms are named after themselves. A darkroom is dark, for old-fashioned things requiring darkness. A cleanroom is clean, for newfangled things requiring cleanliness. These words are abominations unto the language. When I grow old and frail, I will spend all my time in the living room, so that I can die the most natural possible death.
