People care about convenience first, so the surveillance society will conquer the world. When you are tracked from morning to night, no machine will doubt your identity. Not only ID cards will fall away, but also the step of paying; transactions will turn invisible. Your phone (we’ll still name it after the minor function of transmitting sound) will be like an old family servant, arranging everything before you think to order it, only skimming off a little for the owners of the Big Data.
