7 November 2018 - 48 cores

Promote progress by sending knowledge to the past? That’s a poor use for
a time machine. If you’re contacted by the future, what you need is
confidence that you’re doing something important. I set it for 50 years
back and sent an Intel announcement of their upcoming chip with 48 cores.
Back then, you see, a core meant a magnetic core that could store one
bit. “Wow!” they’ll say. “In the future they even make toy computers!”
