The anti-vaxxers have deep foresight. It’s only in the last 150 years or so that we’ve known enough about public health to have good official advice, and natural selection hasn’t had much time to operate and teach us to listen to it. Evolution runs faster when there’s an epidemic, but what have we been doing with our official advice? Suppressing epidemics! We should be proud of the bold few who risk all for our future good.
