But Not Simpler

Market thinking is simple. When we predict, “This time things will be different,” we’re wrong. Of course, that’s not the usual prediction; we only try it after “This time things will be the same” has failed repeatedly. The thinking is so simple that it fails the Einstein test; it’s at the level “don’t be wrong on the facts, be wrong by definition.”
