Why should anyone believe in such a strange vision of the future? I’ll say it in words of one syllable: E-co-nom-ics. Team work works. Lone work does not work as well. To get low cost, act as one. Efficient behavior, of course, tends to optimize utility rather than cost, but look around and see what people are choosing to optimize. If you prefer to live in a different world, you’d better pick a different goal.
