5 July 1998 - science jargon

The other day I was examining a polymictic diamictite of hexanal, hexenol, and hexanol with my Auger microprobe when it suddenly occurred to me to wonder whether the jargon-mongers have gone too far. Has science become incomprehensible to the ordinary PhD?
