The United Nations will open a probe of the many Olympic bribery scandal probes, UN officials announced today. “We need to understand why the International Olympic Committee, the U.S. Olympic Committee, the Salt Lake Organizing Committee, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Utah Attorney General are conducting separate investigations of these serious allegations,” said UN Probity Probe Probe chief Moolah Baksheesh. “Here at the United Nations we combine all the world’s cultures,” he added, “so if there’s a topic on which we all think the same, that’s important.”
