10 March 2003 - amongst disagreement
< yesterday --
tomorrow >
diplomat: Hi, my job is to help nations get along even
amongst disagreement.
politician: And mine is to get decisions made amongst
disagreement.
George Bush: Hmm. Well, I guess I won’t be needing
either of you. With my clear vision of right and wrong, there’s
no room for disagreement. Whoever’s not with us is against us.
That’s why I called that UN vote. We may lose the vote, but I’ll
know who to invade next.
politician: Ah, job security! With so much idealism
in the mix, there’ll be more disagreement than ever!
diplomat: I’ve got some ambiguous wording. Let’s paper
right over that.
