23 August 2004 - Ted Kennedy
< yesterday --

Homeland Security: Hmm, report of Ted Kennedy getting onto
a terrorist watch list and not being allowed to fly.
evil conscience: About time we caught up with him.
good conscience: Careful! One bad apple spoils too many cooks.
Homeland Security: It took him three weeks to get off the list.
evil conscience: Too fast. He’s dangerously good at pulling strings.
good conscience: Haste makes rolling stones in glass houses.
Homeland Security: Publically, we’d better say we’re working
aggressively to fix blah blah.
evil conscience: Wimp.
good conscience: Muzak soothes the savage before you leap.
Homeland Security: But what to really do?
evil conscience: Terrorists have infiltrated the Congress
itself. Crack down!
good conscience: A bird in the hand is cuckoo if you have
the Bush in a net.
Homeland Security: I need to listen to my conscience and do
the morally right thing.
evil conscience: Your friends can fly. Who else needs to?
good conscience: Yeah.
