2 September 2005 - New Orleans
< yesterday --
tomorrow >
In the nineteenth century, much of New Orleans was a swamp.
It will never return to that, but with troops on duty, it
does now constitute federally protected wetlands, and
reports say there’s wild life in the area. Yet, sadly, Bush
has no interest in environmental preservation.
clue:
New Orleans is a major port. That is only one of the reasons
that it won’t be abandoned for long.
give me a clue so sweet and true
