Sophisticated Reasoning

A recycling container is distinguished from a trash can only by its associated cultural beliefs: To recycle is good, to throw away is bad. Thus you throw away nothing immediately, but put it into recycling so that the recyclers, unable to separate out what is actually recyclable, have to throw it away. That’s why global warming is not your fault.
