A number of possible fates have been predicted for the universe,
from the Big Crunch to the Big Rip, all of them bleak. Personally,
I’m hoping for the classic Heat Death. It will be the first
opportunity to live in fully modern times.
clue:
The Big Crunch happens if the universe re-collapses. The
Big Rip happens if the expansion accelerates to an asymptote.
