Q. What’s with the Pentagon?

A. There are several symbolic aspects. By being non-square, the Pentagon illustrates its hipness. Adding more sides shows it to be well-rounded and politically neutral. But they can’t go to six sides without offending the Christians; they have to stick with five. Finally, lacking internal connections, the Pentagon denies kinship with the pentagram, openly admitting that if the demon of war is summoned it will get loose.
