My town is rebuilding a street corner. Safety first: If you’re coming down the sidewalk and don’t notice the missing concrete or the giant orange barrier—which could happen if you’re driving a tank down the sidewalk, since a parked backhoe blocks the view—a small sign warns “sidewalk closed”. Don’t step on that dangerous dirt, stay inside the markers on the street which passing cars have already knocked down.
