Organized crime is behind the times. Their thinking is stuck in the bad
old days when you could only get away with murder if you weren’t caught.
Today with a stand-your-ground law you can get away with murder as long
as you leave no witnesses and have a lawyer good enough to arouse
reasonable doubt. Come on mafia, get with the program!

My state has a stand-your-ground law too. It’s stricter than Florida’s
in that the threatening person has to show a deadly weapon, but with
any dark object in the hand considered mistakable for a gun I somehow
don’t feel confident.
