6 November 2013 - dating a zircon

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

How Discussions Of Prejudice Usually Go

reporter: Have you ever dated a zircon?
passer-by 1: I’ve never even met a zircon!
passer-by 2: Oh, you probably have, but it was beneath your notice.
reporter: What about you, how do you feel about zircons?
passer-by 2: Zircons are OK, but I wouldn’t let my sister date one.

clue:

Zircon is a mineral used for dating (finding the age of) rocks. In other words, for some people, dating and age determination are the same thing.

give me a clue so sweet and true
