Yet policies are not in vain. They can be implemented, as those of us know who have given up essential liberty, visiting the airline police state where passengers pay to be scanned, questioned, identified, subject to search, and legally required to follow orders. Yes, policies can work, provided they are not hijacked by raging terrorists brandishing an Airline Passenger Bill of Rights.
